We fed them each while the other was napping. It seemed too much to keep track of for the first time. We wanted to be sure we didn't miss any reactions, expressions, etc.
I couldn't pick just one of the videos so I included all of them. The first is about 7 minutes long. Sorry. The others are a bit shorter. And just so you know, Jack's videos get better and better!
Avery eating rice cereal...she makes some pretty cute faces once she decides that she likes it.
This is video of Court feeding Avery, it is so short because I "taped" her while the camera was in standby mode, thus no actual footage. Duh...
This is of Jack eating just rice cereal, he wasn't sure what to think of it at first...
We mixed it with a little bit of pears and he didn't really care for that either...
So, we thought just pears might be better....we were wrong!

Dear Jack - We have pears at our house too, but Stella and I don't eat them yet. Mama says that our first food will be avocado in a couple of weeks. Stella wants to eat them NOW. She smacks her lips and begins to drool every time Mama and Daddy eat. I, on the other hand, drool all the time anyway. I'm also quite content with Mama's boobs. But, maybe with some coercion, I can be convinced to eat avocado. Judging by your reaction though, I'll wait on the pears. Love, Fiona
Herm & I were both howling when we watched the video. Jack looks like a wise little old man. I can't believe how wide Avery opens her mouth. Thanks for taking the time to post.
Oh goodness. Avery is sooooo funny, I didn't know babies could open their mouths that wide!!! And Jack. Poor little Jack! Those expressions were priceless. I'm sitting here laughing out loud and Brass had to come see what was so funny. (He has graciously offered to eat Jack's left overs.) That is so funny. I wonder if Jack disapproves of the taste or the texture - or both?! We must see more of this!
Hey Mel and Court!
The footage is so adorable! We love it! When Miles heard the video start he came running, saying "Auntie Cotney!" Then, while watching, kept saying, "where's Auntie Cotney!?" Kraig and I just laughed at all the expressions! I bet they'll both love it soon enough!
Isn't if fun?! Avery was acting like... hey Mom's why did it take you so long? And Jack was wondering... what the heck is this?
Enjoy all the great facial expressions as you try new foods!
