Pumpkin Patch

What a perfect day for the pumpkin patch. We have had the most beautiful Fall weather lately. We went to The Mt. Si Nursery here in North Bend and had a great time. It's not often that we can do anything fun with the babies that doesn't require at least a 30 minute car ride. We had a busy day, too. We went and got their passport pictures taken and submitted their passport applications. Assuming everything goes well, we should have Jack and Avery's passports in a few weeks so that we're ready when we go to Mexico in January. After that we headed over to the pumpkin patch and picked out pumpkins for each of us.
Beautiful Mt. Si in the background

Jack loves to pat and touch everything. I couldn't resist the opportunity for him!
Avery was having a great time riding around in the Bjorn with Auntie Stef

Another beautiful picture of Mt. Si Look at those beauties!
The nursery had a few colonies of bees that Court had to photograph. The tall one on the left had a solar panel on it and the owner said that they used it to keep the bees warm. How funny.
Getting ready to find the perfect pumpkins! Jen, unfortunately there were no horse drawn hay rides. The hay ride was starting in the background headed up by a good old tractor...fumes and all! We didn't go this time around because we were cutting it close with nap time. Next year we will surely go for a hay ride.

Pretty Fall picture!

Oh my gosh, it's beautiful there! As nice as my area of Austin is, there is nothing like that here... maybe next year we'll have to visit Seattle in the fall for a tractor-lead hay ride at Mt Si.

I will do my best to get Aurora to a pumpkin patch!!!

Woot Woot! I was called out by name in the blog!! =) Really great pics - what a beautiful day. I can't believe the hay ride was being pulled by a tractor. That's NOT the same. I saw a hay-ride on Friday while on the way to my parents, at a pumpkin patch in the valley. There were actual horses pulling the wagon! Funny that you can find that in Kent but not in NB?? Anyway, there are tons of them to pick from around here - you can find plenty of farm land still in Kent and the valley especially. Anyway, thanks for the pics of what was a fun day for you guys - another "first"!
